Maintenance

Boilers and furnaces need a service once a year. Air conditioning needs a start-up and shut-down each season. Sign up once and we take care of the rest.

Signs your system needs attention

Most problems give a warning first. If you notice any of these, a check-up now can save a breakdown later.

Energy bills climbing?

A furnace, air conditioner or boiler with a problem can run longer than it should, wasting energy and money. A thorough check-up finds the cause and gets it running the way the manufacturer intended.

Turning on and off, over and over?

This is short cycling. Every start wears the motors, switches and contactors, and it can drastically shorten your system's life. A detailed inspection finds the root cause before more damage is done.

Unusual odors?

A smell can signal overheating, an electrical failure or a motor going out. Overheating parts fail early, so it needs a proper diagnosis to keep your system safe and reliable.

Unusual or loud noises?

Failing bearings often screech, and hydronic pumps may squeal. Noises should never be ignored. Catching them early can prevent a costly breakdown.

Taking longer to heat or cool?

Without maintenance, bearings, blower wheels and pumps wear down and the system struggles to do its job. A yearly service finds equipment that is out of spec so it can be put right.

When was your last service?

Most manufacturers recommend a service once a year. Skipping it can cause problems and might even void your warranty. Some systems also need monthly checks by the owner.
